Octopus Eight

For as long as I can remember my son has wanted this particular cake for his eighth birthday. I was able to find a variety of sweets that would have fit the bill as the octopus's legs but as green is his favourite colour the choice was obvious. I used green coconut for his face and white marshmallows cut in half for his enormous teeth. His eyes are made of a white marshmallow cut through the centre. I use them sticky side out as the smarty with stick on very securely. The octopus's mouth is outlined in black liquorice and his smile is a large variety of liquorice.

This is a very easy cake to make as you just need to ring cakes of the same size.
