I made this cake for my daughter to take along to share with her kindy class. I simply made a stencil of the number four and then gently pressed the 100s and 100s into the cut out shape, taking extra care not to get any on the rest of the cake.
I had intended to cover the entire side of the cake in more 100s and 1000s but I ran out so it is a little patchy at best!
Note to self: one can never own enough 100s and 1000s
